Meditation has become a universally recognized method to reduce anxiety, stress and tension. It is an affordable and simple tool that we all can use. We are inviting you to join our unique event – Calligraphic Meditation. As its name suggests, we will focus on practicing Japanese calligraphy but we will do it in a very mindful way. Drawing symbols and characters from the core of our bodies, aligning posture, breathing and senses, focusing on our inner emotional state, we will create a channel to release our inner feelings. It is a very effective way to align thoughts, emotions and actions and with a stroke of a brush process our deep emotions. The event will offer a balanced combination of learning a new material and practicing calligraphy to achieve stillness, new energy and tranquility to our minds.
We will perform this session with guidance by Azumi Uchitani, a Japanese lifestyle and meditation coach, who will introduce you to a technique of Japanese calligraphic meditation. She started making calligraphy at a very young age in Japan at home. Her grandfather was her teacher and mentor. It was a part of daily rituals together with tea ceremony and flower arrangement. After years of her journey, living internationally, she has formulated this method that anyone can achieve inner peace and get in touch with their creative self. Azumi has been giving Calligraphy meditation sessions for over a decade. She gives both private and group sessions. Her clients represent a diverse audience: executives, celebrities, international professionals, artists, teenagers etc.
We are sorry! This event has ended. You can book your place at one of our upcoming events:
