The Ouija Board- Spine Chilling Entertainment

The Ouija board, often regarded as a tool for spiritual communication, has a complex and intriguing history that intertwines mysticism, popular culture, and the human desire to connect with the unknown. Originating in the 19th century during a period of heightened interest in Spiritualism, the Ouija board was marketed as a parlour game, but its roots lie in ancient practices. Patented in 1890 by Elijah Bond and later popularised by William Fuld, the board’s association with the supernatural grew as stories of spirit communication spread. Throughout the 20th century, the Ouija board’s image shifted, from a harmless game to a symbol of occult danger, thanks to its portrayal in horror films and literature. Despite its controversial reputation, the Ouija board remains a cultural touchstone, reflecting society’s fascination with the afterlife and the paranormal. Are you ready for a lecture dedicated to this fascinating game? It might send some chills down your spine….
